If an individual did not receive UI benefits in 2020 but received a 1099-G form from IDES, this may indicate that a fraudulent claim was filed in their name. These claimants may also access and print their 1099-G form online by visiting /1099G or by calling Tele-Serve at (312) 338-4337. Those who opted for electronic delivery should have received an email notification towards the end of January 2021, which would have included instructions on how to access the document from the IDES website.įor individuals who opted not to receive the 1099-G form electronically, IDES will have mailed a paper form during the last week of January. Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC)Ĭlaimants are provided an option to receive the 1099-G form electronically once they have established an IDES account.Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC).This form is necessary for individuals who received state and/or federal benefits and pertains to claimants who received regular UI benefits as well as benefits paid under new federal pandemic relief programs. Claimants who collected UI benefits last year need this form from IDES to complete federal and state tax returns.
